The objective of NYSSO is to organize and promote youth football/cheerleading and provide an opportunity for teams to compete in league competition and tournament play that leads to a Midwest State and National Championship in their respective competitive classes and their age group. Our tournaments are structured to allow all youth football teams the ability to earn paid National Championship Berths based on total points earned in each NYSSO Sanctioned Tournament.  The competition level at our tournaments is among the best in the Midwest. This doesn't mean that we only provide tournaments for the very best teams in the Midwest; it just simply means we have tournaments throughout the year that have a nice mix which allows all teams the ability to compete in every tournament.
